​We ended by starting reading the myth of "Prometheus, the Fire Bringer".

We started by receiving an assignment called "What Is a Classic?" and had the laptops in class to start working on it.

We started with the creation of the Greek world. (attached below)

Then we read about the 4 Ages of Man. (attached below)

As a foundation of how to write topic sentences, we filled out a handout and swore in to always use topic sentences.  (attached below)

Today we finished the getting to know us handout.

Next, we filled out a literacy inventory. (attached below)

Then we read over and discussed the "What Is Mythology" handout. (attached below)

​First Day:

We went through the Captain's introduction PowerPoint and students did their own 1,2,3. 

Then we went over the disclosure document.  (attached below)

We ended with an activity to get to know each other.
