Today was the end of the world... Ragnarok.

We watched some clips, read an article and a handout, and wrote down what we learned from it all.

Today we discussed the "Dark Side" think with ink.

Then we read the myth "The Death of Balder" and talked about the questions with the myth.

Today we did the think with ink called "The Dark Side".

Then we read the myth "The Children of Loki" before talking about the think with ink.

Today was college day.

Today was a make up day to offset Friday's altered schedule. 
​We worked on our myths the whole day.

We shared 2 of our 3 wisdom sayings with the class.

Then we watched some clips from the TV show Vikings.

We ended with a think with ink called "The Dark Side" as we prepare for Loki!

Today we finished our discussion on the Wisdom Think with Ink and turned it in.

Then we drew 3 Viking wisdom sayings out of a hat and figured them out. We will share 2 of them next time.

Today we read the myth called "Odin's Quest for Wisdom".

Then we finished and discussed the Wisdom Think with Ink.

Lastly, we grabbed 3 wisdom sayings and researched what they mean.

We shared what our names mean and what type of name it is.

Then we learned about Odin and wisdom.

We learned about runes and translated our name into runic Norse language.

We ended by researching 5 wisdom sayings of the Nordic people and will share what they mean, why they mattered then, and an example in today's world.
