We read and talked about Steinbeck's turtle metaphor from The Grapes of Wrath and compared it to our lives and the migration of Oklahoman farmers to California.

Then we tried our hand at surviving a day in the life of those in poverty. 

We had our last argumentative writing prompt in the lab.

Today we started the novel Of Mice and Men. Then we answered 8 questions about it.

We color-coded our Schaffer essay and handed it in.

We finished the podcast on the generational theory and got the assignment to teach it to someone our age and someone at least 10 years older.

Today was our last reading day!

We read about the generational theory.  Then we started  part one of a podcast about it.
We ended by going to the library to get a book for fourth term.

Today we discussed drive and dreams.

We listened to FDR's first inaugural address and annotated it for a specific theme. Then we talked about fear in the U.S. economy.

Book projects were due.
